Why You Should Never Go on the Internet Without a VPN and How You Can Get One

Lets admit it. The Internet today is not as safe as it used to be. Every click we perform is traceable and our browsing data can be collected either by the Service Providers or by people who have access to public networks (hackers). How does it work?

When you want to access a website from any device, first you connect to your Internet Service Provider (ISP) and then it connects you to the website. All your traffic data can be viewed by your ISP because they pass through your ISP’s servers. A VPN works as a stop in the middle! The exchanged data between your device and the VPN server pass through the created “tunnel” and those data are encrypted, altering the information in a particular way, as an additional layer of security.

So, if the Internet connection is through a VPN connection, that means that you are connected to the Internet via a server run by a VPN provider. As a result, your ISP knows only that you are connected to a VPN server, but it cannot know which websites you are visiting. In addition, your true IP address is hidden and the address that is visible is the one of the VPN server. Through the encrypted connection that a VPN creates, your data are also safe in public wifi hotspots. As a conclusion to the above, people who have access to user’s online activity like the ISP, the government and hackers are unable to “observe” what the user is doing.
