Introducing JCG Academy – Get schooled by the Java Code Geeks

Dear fellow geeks,

it is with great honour that we announce the launch of JCG Academy. JCG Academy is a subscription based site that will work complementary with our existing main site (which of course remains free). It is appealing to serious developers that wish to achieve top notch technical education.

JCG Academy hosts a number of courses on the latest, cutting edge technologies, ranging from NoSQL databases, like Redis and CouchDB, to mobile development with Android. Of course, Java related courses are also included in the package.

Each course consists of several standalone lessons and covers all the major aspects of each technology. We are updating the content on a weekly basis by adding new lessons and additional courses.

The courses are written by educated specialists who have great expertise on the subject at hand. Our top class instructors will help you understand the material and will be there in order to provide further assistance and guidance.

For Academy, we provide a monthly and a yearly subscription plan for you to try out and we are so confident with the material that we offer a 100% “no-questions-asked” money back guarantee. Additionally, we include some free courses so that you can check first hand what you will get!

I urge you to get on board and try the platform and the provided material. I am extremely confident that you will get compensated for both your time and money.

So, we are waiting for you! Hop on and enjoy the ride! Happy reading!

If you want to impress people, you should provide a free access for the first week of using the service. I’m not going to share my credit data for unverified source of training. I believe you have to fight for audience with the quality, and it’s not the best factor of JCG in last year, where most posts are dominated by redundant, documentation copy-pasted tutorials. Quality of your service is getting down with time, so I’m assuming this would be the issue for JCG Academy too. Please tell me what is happening? Don’t you have a review process of published… Read more »

Hello Msi, Thank you for your comment and valuable feedback. We will try to provide some form of free access that will allow our subscribers to evaluate the quality of our training. BTW, we have a 100% money-back guarantee in place, so the risk for someone who subscribes is zero. Regarding the quality of our service getting down with time, please allow me to disagree. I strongly believe it is quite the opposite. We are building a great Java community and provide tons of value to our visitors and fans. Finally, regarding your comment on the examples we have been… Read more »

What have you got available in terms of helping people code better? There are an endless supply of tutorials in how to get code working on line. I would be interested in tutorials that will show people how to write better code, showing examples of bad code and how that can be improved.
This material would add value to the developer community and be something people would pay for rather than the same material repeated on numerous websites.

Hello Jonny,   You are right, there are an endless supply of tutorials and examples in how to get the code working on line but the vast majority of all this information is of doubtable quality in terms of accuracy, correctness and presentation. I am a Java developer myself and believe me when I say that I have started javacodegeeks in an urge to help my fellow Java developers overcome the same problems I came across in my day to day programming tasks for which I have spent endless hours searching the WEB and reading tutorials and examples of the… Read more »
