For this occasion, Packt is giving everyone a surprise gift! However, the surprise won’t be revealed until September 28, 2012, which is when the 1000th title is expected to be unveiled.

Another thing to notice is that Packt supports many of the Open Source projects covered by its books through a project royalty donation, which has contributed over £300,000 to Open Source projects up to now.
