Java API for Kannel SMS/WAP gateway v 1.0.1 released

Hello all, we released version 1.0.1 of Java API for Kannel SMS/WAP gateway.

In the latest version a bug is fixed concerning the GSM encoding of SMS messages. Now messages are properly encoded and send to the SMSC.

The latest version also introduces WAP Push functionality. You can send a WAP Push message using a single API command.

The upcoming version will introduce, bulk WAP Push messaging functionality and prioritization of WAP Push messages, so stay tuned!
